Connect an AI tool with MCP

Doprax runs an MCP server. MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the standard way for an AI assistant to use outside tools, so any assistant that speaks it can list your VMs, create one, deploy an app to App Space or read your balance when you ask it to in plain words.

  • Address: https://www.doprax.com/api/v1/mcp/
  • Transport: HTTP (streamable)
  • Sign-in: your API key as Authorization: Bearer <key>

Get the key in the dashboard under Account, API Keys. See The Doprax API.

Terminal window
claude mcp add --transport http doprax https://www.doprax.com/api/v1/mcp/ \
--header "Authorization: Bearer $DOPRAX_API_KEY"

Ask the assistant something that only reads:

What is my Doprax balance, and which services do I have?

It should call get_finance_balance and list_services and answer with your real numbers. Then try something that acts:

Create the smallest ProVM virtual machine in Poland with Ubuntu, and tell me how to log in.

The server offers tools for virtual machines, App Space, deployments, the App Market, SSH keys, secrets and billing. The tool list is produced from the server itself.

Every tool call made with your key is recorded with the time, the tool and the outcome:

Terminal window
curl -sS "$DOPRAX_API_URL/api/v2/mcp/actions/" \
-H "X-API-Key: $DOPRAX_API_KEY"
