Do I keep paying while my server is stopped?

Is there a monthly plan?

📅 No fixed monthly subscription — Doprax is hourly, pay-as-you-go. There is no “$X/month plan” you lock into. 💰 It depends on the server plan — higher specs burn balance faster. Rough example: a ~$5/month-equivalent entry plan is often around $0.007/hour. At that rate: $5 ≈ 30 days of 24/7 runtime $10 ≈ 60 days of 24/7 runtime > 💡 These are estimates for one server running continuously. Is there a setup fee?

✅ No setup fees on Doprax. You are only charged for actual usage — mainly hourly server runtime plus any extras (traffic overage, snapshot storage, etc.). What you top up is what you spend; nothing is withheld at signup.

What does 'unlimited traffic' actually mean?

On ProVM, unlimited means no per-GB charge ever. On Hetzner, you get a monthly quota (e.g. 20TB) after which overage charges apply. Always check the specific plan details.

What happens when I exceed the traffic limit?

Your plan includes a monthly traffic quota (e.g. 20 TB/month) that resets on the 1st of every calendar month — not a rolling 30-day window. Does it unlock gradually? It depends on the provider: Hetzner & GCP — the full quota is available from day 1 Vultr, DigitalOcean, UpCloud — the quota unlocks gradually over the month Usage above the (unlocked) quota counts as overage. How traffic is charged: 1. Within your included quota — no extra traffic charge (usage counts against the monthly total) 2. Beyond included quota — overage is metered and charged at your provider's rate (e.g. per 100GB block on Hetzner), deducted from your wallet 3. Billing cadence — overage is charged in small daily amounts, not one lump sum at month end ✅ Unlimited traffic plans (e.g. most ProVM servers) are exempt from daily allowance and overage rules — there is no monthly cap to unlock and no per-GB traffic charge.

Which Linux distributions are available?

Doprax offers Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS Stream, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and Fedora — plus MikroTik CHR, which is ProVM only. Can I install a panel (X-UI, Marzban, etc.) by myself?

Yes. You have full root access to your server and can install any software you choose. We do not provide managed installation services.

What is the default server creation limit?

Two separate limits apply: Account-wide — a new account can run up to 10 servers in total, across every provider. Per provider — each provider has its own quota on your account, and it starts at 0 until it is granted. ProVM, for example, starts at 1 server once your application is approved. So if one provider won't let you create a server even though you are well under 10 overall, it is the per-provider quota you have hit, not the account-wide one. Both can be raised.

How do I request a higher server limit?

Request an increase from your dashboard and tell us what you are running. There is no fixed ceiling — the new limit is whatever our team approves for your account, so a well-explained use case matters more than any particular number. Two things to know: You can only have one request open at a time. The number you ask for has to be higher than your current limit. Account-wide and per-provider limits are raised separately.

You can create a server with Mikrotik OS with ProVM servers, other custom OS images are not supported at the moment.

Yes you can run X-UI or Marzban panel on your server, you have full root access to your server and can install any software you choose. We do not provide managed installation services.

How does the referral program work?

You get a referral link from the referral section of your dashboard. When someone signs up through it and starts spending, you earn a commission on what they spend, for the lifetime of their account. The standard rate is 5%. Your link, the users you have referred and your earnings are all in that same dashboard section.

What is the referral commission rate?

The standard commission is 5% of what the people you refer spend, for the lifetime of their account — not just their first payment. Some older referral links are still on a legacy 10% rate and we honour those as they are. Your own rate and your current earnings are shown in the referral section of your dashboard.
