1. Scope: services and who is covered
Doprax provides cloud infrastructure and hosting services, including virtual machines, container hosting, application/app-market hosting, storage, networking and related developer tooling (the "Services"). This AUP applies to everyone who uses the Services: our registered customers ("you"), and any people or systems that access or use the Services through your account — including your employees, contractors, customers, end users and any sub-users. You are responsible for ensuring that everyone using your account is aware of and complies with this AUP.
2. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use the Services to host and run lawful websites, applications, APIs, workloads and data. You must not use the Services — or allow them to be used — for any activity that is illegal, harmful, or that infringes the rights of others. The following are strictly prohibited:
  • Any activity that violates applicable law or regulation, or that facilitates illegal acts.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that exploits or endangers minors — this is reported to the authorities without notice.
  • Malware, ransomware, botnets, command-and-control infrastructure, or tools designed to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Phishing, spoofing, identity theft, fraud, or deceptive/misleading schemes.
  • Unsolicited bulk or commercial messaging (spam), or sending email in violation of anti-spam laws.
  • Denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks, port/network scanning, penetration testing, or any attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to any network, system or account (yours, ours, or a third party's) without explicit prior authorization.
  • Infringement of intellectual property rights, including unlicensed distribution of copyrighted or trademarked material.
  • Content or conduct that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, promotes violence, terrorism or violent extremism, or incites hatred or discrimination.
  • Unauthorized cryptocurrency mining or other activity that abuses shared resources.
  • Distribution of export-controlled technology or otherwise sanctioned goods, services or data (see section 3).
Restricted / high-risk activities. Some otherwise-lawful activities carry elevated risk and require our prior written approval before you run them on the Services — for example, high-volume/bulk email or SMS sending, security testing against third-party targets, and regulated high-risk sectors such as gambling, adult content, or financial services. We may decline or impose conditions on such use at our discretion and where required by law or by our payment providers.
3. Compliance with laws and sanctions
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with all laws and regulations that apply to you, including those of Denmark and the European Union and of any jurisdiction from which you operate or in which your users are located. You must also comply with all applicable export-control laws and international sanctions, including those administered by the European Union, the United Nations, and the United States (OFAC). You may not use the Services if you are a sanctioned or restricted party, on behalf of such a party, or from a comprehensively embargoed territory, and you may not use the Services to provide prohibited services to any such party or territory.
4. Rules for using the platform
  • Provide accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date; do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
  • Keep your credentials and access keys secure, and do not share access in a way that enables abuse.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits, billing, quotas or security controls, and do not resell or sub-let the Services in breach of your agreement with us.
  • Do not use the Services in a way that damages, disables, overburdens or impairs the Services or interferes with any other customer's use.
  • Promptly remove prohibited content and address vulnerabilities or compromises in your workloads once you become aware of them.
  • Take reasonable measures to prevent fraud, abuse and the hosting of harmful content within your account.
5. Responsibility for third parties and sub-users
You are fully responsible for all activity that takes place under or through your account, whether by you or by any third party you permit to use it — including your customers, end users, sub-users and integrated third-party services. You must ensure that all such parties comply with this AUP, and any breach by them is treated as a breach by you. A violation by one of your end users may result in action against your account under section 6.
6. Monitoring, enforcement, suspension and termination
We do not routinely monitor the content of customer workloads, but we reserve the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP and to review activity, logs and content to the extent necessary and permitted by law. Where we identify or reasonably suspect a violation, or where required to protect the Services, other customers or third parties, we may — with or without prior notice depending on the severity — take any of the following actions:
  • Request that you remediate the issue within a specified time;
  • Remove, disable or restrict access to offending content or workloads;
  • Suspend or throttle all or part of your Services;
  • Terminate your account or agreement; and
  • Report the matter to, and cooperate with, law enforcement and other competent authorities.
For serious violations (such as CSAM, active attacks, or activity that exposes us or others to legal or security risk) we may act immediately and without prior notice. Where practicable and lawful, we will notify you of action taken and give you an opportunity to respond.
7. Reporting abuse and changes to this policy
To report a suspected violation of this AUP, email [email protected] with relevant details. We may update this AUP from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, the law, or industry practice; the current version will always be available on this page, and material changes take effect when posted.
